How to upload to Deezer - Tutorial

Below is a step-by-step tutorial on how to upload to Deezer and many other DSPs through Magroove. We’ve crafted the most burocracy-free process as possible. You can finish filling the form in under 4 minutes if you have everything ready. Here you can check what you’ll need and once you Sign Up you’ll be ready to go!

1. Sign Up for a Magroove For Artists account with a Facebook, Google or Spotify account.
2. Ironically, you’ll choose the option I Want To Upload My Music to Spotify on your Magroove account’s dashboard. Note that you’ll also get your music on 40+ other DSPs, with no charges per store or anything like that.
3. Next step: Filling the form
  - In the Basic Info fields you’ll provide your Artist Name and other relevant information. But keep in mind that if you have releases online under this Artist Name, even if you first uploaded it with another distributor, it’s important that you provide the assigned Spotify Artist URI later on the form.
  - Step 2 is to drag n’ drop your audio files - simple as that.
  - Step 3, about your song’s ISRCs - the unique code that identifies each recorded phonogram. If it’s the first time you face the term ISRC, no worries, Magroove will create your song’s ISRCs for you. But if you already have the ISRCs for your songs, you must use them.
  - Step 4, your cover art. Here you can upload your own or create a generic cover art for your release. Note that if you’ll upload your own cover art, it must not contain any links, social media info or brand logos on it - stores and streaming platforms don’t accept that.
  - Final Touches also means some important information to provide, especially if this is all new to you. Here’s where you’ll assign the copyright owners of your songs and recordings. Fill Copyright Name with your name if you wrote the song(s) and fill Phonogram Copyright with your name if you recorded it yourself at a home studio or fill it with the name of who else owns the phonogram's rights, if it’s not yourself.
  - Still On Final Touches, this is also where you can make the Pre-Save option available for your release on your Spotify For Artist’s account. To do that, make sure to set a future release date of at least 30 days ahead. That is a secure time span to be sure your release will be moderated and approved by Spotify, Deezer and any other platform. We take but a day or two to moderate your release, but once it’s delivered to stores and streaming services, they usually take a few weeks moderating it.
4. Submit your release! It will now go to our moderation team and they’ll check if everything is OK. The better information you provide, the quickest your release will be online. Some releases take but 10 days to be on 40+ stores and streaming services!
5. Get your music everywhere! We’ll get your music on Deezer, Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, 40+ other platforms and the list keeps growing!
